About The Position

As a Direct Care Professional at Sevita, you will support people with developmental goals and help them grow, learn, and live well. You will build meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, support their participation in community activities, and assist with goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. The role also includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. This is a full-time position with weekend shifts as scheduled. The hire wage is $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience; experience with intellectual disabilities, behavioral health, or mental health is preferred.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
• Valid driver's license held for at least one year after the permit period, with a clean driving record meeting Sevita’s insurability policy.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
