About The Position

Lead Direct Care Staff will provide spiritual leadership and encouragement to residents while also continually supervising students. Supervise at night & assist students (ages 12yrs to 17yrs) with online education & TC Curriculum when applicable. Minimum age requirement is 21yrs old. This is a full-time position.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement is 21 years old
Shall be a person of spiritual maturity, amiable to the Assemblies of God doctrine, and in full agreement with the ATCOT mission statement
Complete the Effective Biblical Counseling course or an equivalent course
Knowledge of Christian discipleship and mentor relationships
High School Diploma or GED
Ideally credentialed as a minister or pursuing credentials in the AG or doctrinally similar fellowship
30 hours of training in childcare or related field (Provided by ATCOT Adolescent annual in-service)
Maintain First Aid and CPR certification (Certification training provided by ATCOT)
A background check and pastoral reference is required

Nice To Haves

College degree or work experience equivalence
At least 1 year full time ministry experience
A good driving record

Responsibilities

Conduct Bible studies
Lead prayer
Disciple students
Conduct evangelistic outreach
Engage in religious instruction
Work with other departments to comply with all TCUSA & Texas DFPS regulations
Participate in campus events and chapels as required
Supervision (following staff check off list responsibilities), mentoring, and interacting with residents during various activities, which may include but is not limited to online school, TC Curriculum, work periods, free time, and recreational activities
Administer discipline as is necessary according to ATCOT THRIVE policies
Minister to students as opportunity arises and/or during scheduled sessions
Become a mentor to students
All other duties as assigned by Director
