About The Position

This position, Director, Division Nutrition, directs and coordinates the communication and implementation of Morrison Healthcare nutrition programs and regulatory requirements within the region of responsibility. The role involves developing new and evaluating existing nutrition care systems/programs to promote and measure the impact of optimal clinical nutrition care. It also guides clinical practice and performance through research, professional review, and professional publication. This position requires 75% travel, supporting facilities in TX, MS, AR, LA, AZ, OK, CA, and NM. Candidates must reside or relocate to one of these states and be located near a major airport. In this role, the Director will also be responsible for directing and coordinating the communication and implementation of sector nutrition programs, as well as the monitoring of regulatory requirements within their division of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Licensed by the State Dietetics Licensing Board, post examination, in states where applicable within company’s required timeline as outlined per policy
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Basic computer use, including use of e-mail and MS applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must reside or relocate to one of these states (TX, MS, AR, LA, AZ, OK, CA, and NM) and be located near a major airport

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree preferred
  • At least 7 years of experience, preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides resources for and coordination of activities to support clinical nutrition programs
  • Assists with the maintenance and development of Nutrition programs and menus, Policies and Procedures Manual, Manual of Clinical Nutrition Management and others as requested
  • Supports new sales surveys, presentations and openings through coordination of resources
  • Assists in career development of clinical team members
  • Reads and complies with all Compass Group policies and procedures as is appropriate
  • Completes all daily, weekly or monthly reports as outlined in the corporate Policies and Procedures on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines
  • Performs other duties as assigned
