About The Position

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) offers a structured, paid 16-week training program for a Dining Services Manager in Training. The program combines hands-on and computer-based training to prepare the employee to manage and oversee dining services in a healthcare setting. The position supports dining operations and works to enhance customer and resident experiences.

Requirements

Strong organizational and communication skills.
Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM), Food Service Manager (FSM), Long-Term Care Food Service (LTC-FSM), and CDM,CFPP certifications during the development program where required by state regulations.
Valid driver's license.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Comply with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks for extended periods.
Residency within the service area is required.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in dining services or hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing dining services operations, including meal preparation, service, and quality control.
Learn to ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
