About The Position
New Horizon Foods is seeking a Dining Services Director at Luna Brook Senior Living. The company provides dining services tailored to each location and client and has operated for more than 30 years across more than 10 states. The role leads and guides the dining department team toward its goals, with a focus on scratch cooking and customer service. The position offers a small-team environment and no late nights.
Requirements
- Extensive culinary experience.
- Prior experience leading a team.
- Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
Responsibilities
- Develop menus within provided guidelines.
- Order supplies and maintain inventory.
- Hire and develop team members.
- Assist with meal preparation and serving.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and appetizingly.
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and guests.
- Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen and dining areas.
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other management and the client.
