About The Position

Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Dining Services Assistant to join our busy, high-energy Dining Services team. This role offers consistent hours, a supportive team, and the opportunity to work with residents who genuinely appreciate your contributions. Allegro Fort Lauderdale is a premier senior living community serving over 190 residents across Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care. You will be part of a professional, well-organized dining team with consistent PM hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or assisted living setting
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and organization
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• Must have an awareness of safety practices
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six (6) months food service (or related field) preferred

Responsibilities

• Set tables
• Bus tables
• Wash dishes, cookware, flatware, and utensils
• Properly maintain all dishwashing equipment
• Assist the Cook as needed
• Complete cleaning duties
• Work as part of the Dining Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen
• Contribute to high quality Dining Services operations by paying attention to food presentation and taste, and courteous responses to residents and associates during meal service
