About The Position

Unidine is currently hiring for a Dining Services Manager position at ClarkLindsey in Urbana, IL. This role is within a Continuing Care Retirement Community setting, specifically focusing on skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living. The position is full-time, primarily Monday through Friday, with some weekend requirements. The salary range is $75k - $80k, and relocation assistance is offered. Unidine is an industry-leading hospitality food service group known for its commitment to scratch cooking, innovative programs, and exceptional guest experiences. This role requires a leader with healthcare experience in senior living, a strong focus on skilled nursing, assisted living (AL), and memory care. The manager ensures meals are delivered on time, meet all dietary requirements, and are served at the proper temperature. They will partner closely with the Director of Nursing to enhance the dining experience and address concerns, while also leading and developing a team by setting clear expectations, driving accountability, and building engagement. While culinary experience is a plus, it is not a requirement. Financial responsibilities are minimal, but strong communication with the General Manager and Executive Chef is critical.

Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
  • Credentialed as a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) or Dietetic Technician (DTR), or eligible.
  • Experience in senior living, healthcare foodservice, or supervisory roles is a strong plus.
  • ServSafe® certification (or willing to obtain).
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Office, EMRs, nutrient analysis, and diet office systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Culinary experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutrition screenings, implement individualized care plans, and monitor residents’ progress in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian.
  • Partner with the dining team to plan resident-centered menus and ensure high-quality, enjoyable meal service that meets both clinical and personal preferences.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate dining services staff to deliver excellence while maintaining compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
  • Lead or participate in quality improvement efforts that enhance resident satisfaction, streamline operations, and improve clinical outcomes.
  • Ensure ongoing adherence to HIPAA, federal and state regulations, and facility policies related to nutrition care and foodservice operations.
