About The Position

The Dining Server joins Benchmark’s dining team and helps create a clean, welcoming dining environment. The role provides friendly, personalized service to residents, serving meals and supporting residents with their dining needs.

Requirements

• Able to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and applicable Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Able to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to stand in one place for extended periods; the position is primarily standing.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring meals are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents with meal selection and accommodate specific needs or requests.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
