About The Position

As a Server in a senior living community restaurant, you provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to residents during meals and special events. You help deliver an exceptional dining experience by ensuring residents’ dietary needs and preferences are met and by fostering a welcoming, inclusive dining environment. The role involves building meaningful relationships with residents and working with the culinary team. Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly and create a positive dining atmosphere.
• Accurately take meal orders and promptly deliver food and beverages.
• Serve meals according to residents’ dietary requirements and preferences, including portion sizes and special requests.
• Provide a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.
• Prepare the dining room before meals by setting tables with linens, utensils, and glassware.
• Clear tables after meals and maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Reset tables for the next meal service.
• Communicate resident feedback and requests to the Culinary Director or kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of food and beverages.
• Comply with local health department regulations and Cogir senior living standards.
