About The Position
Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its assisted living dining team. The role focuses on fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The Server takes and serves meal orders, assists residents with meal selection and other specific needs, and helps prepare the dining room and food service supplies.
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
- Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand in one place for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring meals are presentable and appetizing.
- Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
- Respond to residents who need assistance selecting meals or have specific needs.
- Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
- Assist with inventorying supplies.
