About The Position

Benchmark is seeking a Server to join its assisted living dining team. The role is focused on fostering a clean and welcoming dining environment and providing friendly, personalized service to residents. The position involves serving meals and beverages promptly, supporting residents with meal selection and other specific needs, and helping prepare and maintain dining areas.

Requirements

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.
• Ability to serve food and beverages to residents promptly and efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand in one place for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from residents and serve meals promptly, ensuring they are presentable and appetizing.
• Set up and deliver meal trays and food carts to the dining room as instructed.
• Assist residents who need help selecting meals or have specific needs.
• Set up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.
• Assist with inventorying supplies.
