About The Position

The Dining Room Server at The Cardinal at North Hills is part of the Culinary Services team and helps create exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role provides attentive, personalized table service and delivers meals with professionalism, warmth, and a welcoming attitude. Servers build relationships, anticipate resident preferences, and contribute to a dining community centered on respect, teamwork, and exceptional service. This is a full-time position scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with open availability that includes Saturdays. Weekend and holiday work may be required as needed. The stated pay range is $15.50–$16.00 per hour.

Requirements

Food Handler’s certification as required.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, timely, and professional table service to residents and guests.
Greet and escort residents in dining venues, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Learn daily menus and make thoughtful recommendations.
Maintain clean, organized dining areas and proper table settings.
Serve as a liaison between residents, guests, and kitchen staff to support smooth service.
Monitor residents’ well-being and report concerns appropriately.
Record service and operational information as required.
Learn and anticipate resident preferences to enhance the dining experience.
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Follow safety, sanitation, and company standards.
