About The Position

The Server at The Cardinal at North Hills is part of the Culinary Services team and helps create exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. The role provides attentive, personalized meal service with professionalism, warmth, and a welcoming attitude, while building relationships and contributing to a positive community. This is a full-time position scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., with open availability including Saturdays. Pay is $15.50–$16.00 per hour. Employment offers are contingent on satisfactory completion of the pre-employment process, which may include drug screening, a job-related physical examination, TB screening, background check, and required vaccinations or immunizations.

Requirements

Food Handler’s certification as required.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous serving or hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, timely, and professional table service to residents and guests.
Greet and escort residents in dining venues, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
Learn daily menus and make thoughtful recommendations.
Maintain clean, organized dining areas and proper table settings.
Serve as a liaison between residents, guests, and kitchen staff to support smooth service.
Monitor residents’ well-being and report concerns appropriately.
Record service and operational information as required.
Learn and anticipate resident preferences to enhance the dining experience.
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Follow safety, sanitation, and company standards.
