About The Position

Green Valley Grill in Greensboro, North Carolina, is seeking a friendly and energetic Dining Room Manager to join a team of restaurant professionals providing outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. The role is guided by the organization’s mission to serve guests, fellow staff members, owners, and the Earth and her people.

Requirements

At least 2 years of restaurant leadership experience in a full-service, moderate- to high-volume restaurant.
Friendly, energetic, and detail-focused.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Desire to work in a fast-paced, enthusiastic environment.

Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and perform consistently in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
Lead communication and collaboration, integrating the needs of multiple departments and service team members.
Lead a team focused on delighting guests through consistently outstanding service and established systems.
Own opening, mid, and closing shifts while leading and coaching colleagues.
Recruit and hire employees and develop them into Lucky Star staff members.
Manage restaurant financial matters, including payroll, daily reports, food cost, and wastage.
Create an environment that encourages leaders to develop their skills.
Participate energetically in staff meetings and educational opportunities.
Maintain cleanliness and safety and ensure maintenance, training, and sanitation standards are met.
