This position is responsible for directing the Health and Wellness Program and ensuring that Senior Lifestyle standards and state requirements for resident care are met. The Director of Health and Wellness will direct staff, ensure regulatory compliance and be responsible for the management of the clinical budget. The role follows and performs duties in adherence to Company Dining Policy and Procedures according to the Dining Services Policy and Procedure Manual. It involves monitoring the production and serving of food, obtaining diet history, counseling residents with special diets, supervising preparation of special menus, and ensuring safety precautions are followed. The role also includes ordering food and non-food items, maintaining employee requirements, adhering to health department regulations, ensuring dining areas are clean and safe, and meeting training standards. Proficiency in software such as ADP, DSSI, and MDS programs is required, along with contributing to budget setting and staying within budget. The Dining Manager will also perform other duties as assigned.
