Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two (2) years (24 months) of coursework in business, dietetics, culinary arts, food science, nutrition, hospitality, hotel, catering, restaurant, or institutional management, or a closely related field (30 semester hours = 1 year, Associate's Degree = 18 months, 90 semester hours = 2 years, Bachelor's Degree = 3 years).
  • Food service supervisory work experience.
  • Supervisory Ability
  • Ability to pass food handler's exam/certification course
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine management duties in a food service unit or department.
  • Work under administrative supervision from a designated administrator (the Chef or Senior Dining Manager).
