About The Position

At Main Event, Dining Hosts guide guests through their dining-room experience and support the overall dining room and bar experience. They greet and seat guests, communicate with servers, server assistants, and managers, and uphold high standards of safety and sanitation.

The role includes welcoming guests and gathering details about their visit, managing tables and the waitlist, seating guests or handing them off to another host, and communicating with servers and guests to help ensure a seamless experience. Dining Hosts also thank guests for visiting and welcome them back, and perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties.

Requirements

• Guest-focused mindset.
• Teamwork skills.
• Food Handlers Certification, as required.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, team members, and guests.
• Attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work days, nights, and/or weekends.

Nice To Haves

• Prior food and beverage experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities
