About The Position

Trident Seafoods is North America's largest vertically integrated seafood harvesting and processing company. This position prepares food and helps cook buffet style meals for employees/crew/customers. Dining Hall Key III residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered.

Requirements

  • Must be a current Trident Seafoods employee or have worked for Trident Seafoods before
  • Food Handler’s card; required within 30 days of employment.
  • Has worked in a Key position at a Trident location for a minimum of 2 years

Nice To Haves

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Previous experience food service industry preferred.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent (or degree, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for food preparation under the guidance of Head Cook.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to be flexible and to learn the different roles in the galley under the supervision of the Cook (Head Cook).
  • Food prep, cleaning, dishwashing, baking, restocking, inventory counts.
  • Performs routine deep cleaning of cooking area.
  • Washes dishes and cookware, cleans tables and floors, empties trash.
  • Maintains a clean working environment.
  • Performs other similar or related duties as requested or assigned.
  • Acquire knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.
  • Notify designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and or Safety training.
