About The Position

ABB Inc. is seeking a Digitalization Lead for Sales and Distribution in New Berlin, Wisconsin. This role serves as a process lead and application expert in the sales and distribution functional area, driving the system implementation of SAP and non-SAP solutions. The position supports the global and local business digitalization transformation strategy by executing assigned projects and continuous improvement actions. The Digitalization Lead will partner with stakeholders and users from business functions to identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business needs into information system demand requirements. Responsibilities include identifying, creating, and facilitating technical and process design changes through complex business and systems analysis in SAP, focusing on quality improvement, system availability, security, data reliability, and process re-engineering. The role also involves leading user acceptance testing and system cutover activities, supporting key users in testing, training, and documentation management, and building automation to decrease system deployment and support cycle times. Adherence to ABB's project management gate model guidelines and quality management of assigned projects is expected.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience implementing SAP Sales and Distribution processes and solutions.
• 8 years of experience in implementing SAP S/4 Hana or SAP ECC.
• 8 years of experience in analyzing business processes in sales operations, manufacturing warranty, or logistics management and integration with non-ERP applications.
• 8 years of experience in communicating updates to cross-functional stakeholders and identifying business needs and demand requirements.
• 8 years of experience in leading projects across multiple sites and countries.
• 8 years of experience in performing quotation, pricing configuration, and order management using SAP SD modules.
• 8 years of experience in using eCommerce solutions, including implementing EDI with customers in ANSI EDI format, implementing customer portals, or working with Optical Character Recognition (OCR), or system-to-system punch out capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a process lead and application expert in sales and distribution functional area to drive system implementation of SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• Support global and local business digitalization transformation strategy by executing assigned projects or continuous improvement actions.
• Partner with stakeholders and users from business functions to identify value stream improvement opportunities and translate business needs to information system demand requirements.
• Identify, create, and facilitate technical and process design changes by conducting business and systems analysis and design at a complex level in SAP; focusing on quality improvement; system availability, security, data reliability; re-engineering processes and recommending elimination.
• Lead user acceptance testing and system cutover activities when applicable.
• Support key users in testing, training, and documentation management.
• Build and leverage automation to decrease overall system deployment and support cycle time.
• Follow ABB project management gate model project management guidelines and manage assigned projects with quality.
