About The Position

The Digital Validation Intern will contribute to validation activities by preparing test setups, executing tests, collecting data, and summarizing results. The intern will assist with debugging, improving test coverage, and documenting observations under the guidance of the team. They will work with design, systems, and software teams to understand expected behavior and support issue resolution, and help maintain validation plans, reports, and technical records. The role contributes to product quality and provides technical learning through disciplined test execution.

To be considered for a summer internship with NXP, applicants must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term. Applicants graduating before July 2027 should apply to entry-level full-time roles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Strong foundation in engineering fundamentals, problem solving, testing, and technical documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical ideas clearly.
• Good written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term; applicants graduating before July 2027 should apply to entry-level full-time roles.

Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience from lab work, design projects, internships, coursework, or student competitions.
• Familiarity with role-related engineering, design, verification, programming, or lab tools; willingness to learn quickly is important.
