About The Position

The Digital Services Intern supports Alabama Credit Union’s Digital Services department through education and hands-on experience, with a focus on data cleanup and documentation initiatives. The intern collaborates across Digital Payments, Digital Communications, and Digital Banking, and understudies a Digital Payments Specialist.

This is a part-time, temporary internship lasting 10 weeks, from May 25, 2027, through July 30, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Applications close February 16, 2027; candidates will be contacted after applications close, and final offers will be made no later than March 15, 2027.

Requirements

• Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail, uphold service standards, complete work correctly, and address problems when they occur.
• Show consideration for the impact of work on members and coworkers and complete projects that benefit them.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Have courtesy, tact, diplomacy, good oral and written communication skills, and good organizational skills.
• Demonstrate initiative and good judgment and make sound decisions.
• Have experience with Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
• Be proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Understudy a Digital Payments Specialist.
• Draft written procedures for departmental processes for Digital Payments.
• Draft written procedures for organizational processes for Digital Payments.
• Assist with fraud screenings.
• Assist with the launch of new digital services and/or features.
• Independently perform assigned data cleanup.
• Collaborate with Digital Payments, Digital Communications, and Digital Banking.
