Digital Print Operator - Night Shift
About The Position
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Digital Print Operator to support daily printing and finishing operations. The role assists with Pro-Stream, Canon IX, and Ricoh printers and, over time, includes training to operate a Meccanotechnica Roll Smyth machine. The operator helps maintain print quality, supply inventory, and smooth workflow coordination across departments. The standard schedule is four days per week, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. During high-volume periods, the schedule may shift to five days per week at the same hours. Schedules vary based on production needs. Pay is $22.00–$26.00 per hour.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must speak English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or inconsistencies in printed materials.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks, including Smyth machine operation.
- Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills, including navigating software and entering information.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and supplies.
- Good communication skills and a cooperative approach to team collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Assist in operating Pro-Stream, Canon IX, and Ricoh printers to produce quality prints.
- Check printed materials for accuracy and color consistency.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, including paper and ink.
- Receive and store new pallets of supplies.
- Move completed jobs to other departments to maintain workflow.
- Collaborate with press operators to support consistent production.
- Use computer-based printing software to access job information, monitor print jobs, and update production records.
- Receive training and develop proficiency in operating the Meccanotechnica Roll Smyth machine for finishing tasks.
