About The Position

At Vestcom, an Avery Dennison company, the Digital Print Operator is a versatile contributor on the Print Operations team. The role manages print stations and customer delivery workflows by handling data, initiating high-speed laser print jobs, and ensuring products meet quality standards. The operator uses the ERP system to log materials and troubleshoot equipment abnormalities, coordinates with Facility Managers and Production Leads when schedules or data change, and maintains a clean, organized, safety-first workspace.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Comfort standing for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Adaptability and a proactive approach to shifting between tasks, including data entry and staging materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple print stations, coordinating reruns and new schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Initiate high-speed laser print jobs and handle related data.
• Use the ERP system to log materials and troubleshoot equipment abnormalities to prevent downtime.
• Work with Facility Managers and Production Leads to respond to emergency changes and data discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and use personal protective equipment.
• Check print work carefully to ensure accuracy and quality.
