About The Position

At Vestcom, an Avery Dennison company, the Digital Print Operator is a versatile contributor on the Print Operations team. The role manages print data and materials, initiates high-speed laser print jobs, and ensures products meet zero-defect quality standards. Operators manage multiple print stations, use an ERP system to record materials and troubleshoot equipment abnormalities, and coordinate with Facility Managers and Production Leads when schedules, emergencies, or data discrepancies require changes. The job requires maintaining an organized workspace and following safety practices, including using PPE.

Potential day shifts are Sunday through Tuesday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus Wednesday, 5 a.m. to 11 a.m.; or Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., plus Thursday through Saturday, 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. Potential night shifts are Sunday through Tuesday, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m., plus Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m.; or Wednesday, 11 p.m. to 5 a.m., plus Thursday through Saturday, 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Final candidates must successfully complete a post-offer background check and drug screening as conditions of employment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Adaptability when shifting between tasks such as data entry and staging materials.
• Attention to detail and meticulous checking of work.
• Ability to stand for the shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of a post-offer background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple print stations and coordinate reruns and new schedules to meet customer deadlines.
• Use the ERP system to log materials.
• Troubleshoot equipment abnormalities to prevent downtime.
• Work with Facility Managers and Production Leads to respond to emergency changes and data discrepancies.
• Check printed work carefully to support accuracy and zero-defect quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and use PPE.
