About The Position

RRD is hiring a Digital Print Operator 2 to operate Xerox Nuvera duplicating printers. The operator prepares and releases print jobs, maintains production records and delivery manifests, monitors printed output, and orders supplies. The role requires knowledge of standard equipment setups and operating characteristics, along with the ability to perform routine adjustments based on job requirements.

Requirements

Knowledge of standard equipment setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics.
Ability to set up and operate equipment and perform basic adjustments according to individual job requirements and equipment capabilities.
Ability to recognize when routine adjustments are needed.
1–3 years of experience working in a digital print environment operating Xerox digital printing equipment.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with one or more of Xerox 6180, Xerox Nuvera, Xerox DP155, DP180, or 4635.

Responsibilities

Operate Xerox Nuvera duplicating printers.
RIP files or review job instructions to prepare jobs for printing.
Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifests.
Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue.
Adjust image position, perforations, and folds on paper as needed.
Monitor job output for correctness and image quality.
Order supplies, including ink, chemical solutions, blankets, rollers, paper, and tabs, as needed.
