About The Position

The Digital Label Press Operator I works for a commercial printing company, operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. The operator communicates with the press Lead to help ensure jobs are completed on schedule. The role is indirectly and directly responsible for product quality and includes other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience operating digital printing equipment.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues to the press Lead.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address equipment issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure printed materials meet quality standards.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with applicable standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate digital printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure printed materials meet quality standards.
• Communicate with the press Lead about machine status and maintenance needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work with team members to complete jobs on schedule.
• Follow safety regulations and procedures.
• Be directly and indirectly responsible for product quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
