About The Position

The Digital Label Press Operator I works in a commercial printing company, operating digital printing equipment to produce high-quality print materials. The operator communicates with the press Lead to help ensure jobs are completed on schedule and is directly and indirectly responsible for product quality. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work area, following safety procedures, and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience as a digital printing operator.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and report issues to the press Lead.
• Ability to work effectively as a team player.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address equipment issues.
• Attention to detail to ensure printed materials meet quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
• Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions in accordance with applicable standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Set up and operate digital printing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
• Ensure printed materials meet quality standards.
• Communicate with the press Lead about machine status and maintenance needs.

• Take direct and indirect responsibility for product quality.
