About The Position

Siege Media is a growing, remote-first organic growth agency seeking a Digital PR Specialist to create and pitch content for world-class clients. The role supports organic growth clients through media outreach, data-driven storytelling, and relationship building with journalists, writers, reporters, and bloggers. The position works across B2B and B2C clients in a range of industries and collaborates with the content marketing team to develop proprietary data and stories. Requirements

Passion for public relations, data-driven content, email outreach, and media relations.
Experience running surveys and crafting stories from data to pitch to national news.
3–5 years of experience working in an agency or similar PR environment for major U.S. brands.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to form productive working relationships.
Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
Strong attention to detail, near-perfect grammar, and strong editing skills.

Nice To Haves

Basic to intermediate SEO knowledge.
Experience using Microsoft Office and/or the Google Doc tool suite.
Experience using a media relations tool such as Muck Rack or Cision.

Responsibilities

Generate creative ideas to develop as content and pitch to journalists and bloggers.
Build media lists for B2B and B2C clients across a wide range of industries.
Work with the content marketing team to create unique, proprietary data that establishes clients as industry experts.
Pitch team-generated content to news media to generate coverage and visibility for organic growth clients.
Monitor news and proactively pitch new stories.
Write effective leads.
Nurture and develop relationships with writers, reporters, and bloggers.
Conduct comprehensive research, validate sources, and find the most recent and relevant data available.
