About The Position

The Digital Pathologist plays a critical role in advancing diagnostic accuracy and efficiency by leveraging digital imaging technologies and computational tools to analyze pathology specimens. This position involves interpreting high-resolution digital slides to identify disease states, contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment planning. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, laboratory staff, and IT professionals to integrate digital pathology workflows into clinical practice. The Digital Pathologist also participates in validating and optimizing digital pathology systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and quality assurance protocols. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance patient outcomes through innovative digital pathology solutions and data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • Valid NY medical license.
  • Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Clinical and Anatomical.
  • Experience or training in anatomic pathology with a strong understanding of histopathology.
  • Familiarity with digital pathology technologies and image analysis software.
  • Licensure to practice medicine in the United States.
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with attention to detail.
  • Fast internet access at home or office.
  • Ability to purchase own high-resolution screen/monitor.
