About The Position

Certified Angus Beef is seeking a digital strategist who connects big-picture thinking with hands-on execution across platforms, partners, and campaigns. This role involves shaping strategy, building and optimizing performance-driven campaigns, and using data to refine creative ideas. The strategist will help define and execute the brand’s digital approach by collaborating with creative, communications, web, and marketing teams to develop paid campaigns that increase awareness, deepen engagement, and drive results. Responsibilities include building or optimizing paid media campaigns for partners and bringing brand initiatives to life across digital channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, advertising or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in digital advertising.
  • Experience with Google Ads and social platforms.
  • Experience with SEO and AEO.
  • Experience with website analytics.
  • Experience with social media platforms.
  • Ability to learn new software and skills quickly.
  • Experience developing and executing paid media campaigns on major social and digital platforms – preferably for a consumer brand.
  • Experience working within creative teams.
  • Ability to manage internal relationships as well as agency collaboration on advertising projects.
  • Solid implementation skills with attention to detail and good follow-up.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and draw conclusions about content based on open, click rates and other indicators.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and deadline-oriented.
  • Ability to deliver creative, targeted content on or ahead of schedule.
  • Comfortable serving as an expert and consultant on digital advertising platforms, strategies, and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Recommend and implement digital strategy across platforms (social, web, YouTube) to maximize brand and partner exposure and engagement.
  • Serve as the brand’s digital media strategist and buyer, advising on platforms and campaign development aligned with brand and partner goals.
  • Plan, manage, purchase, build, launch, and monitor paid digital buys and campaigns.
  • Report on campaign effectiveness and maximize campaign value with retail and foodservice partners.
  • Establish benchmarks and metrics for digital campaigns and initiatives within the brand’s digital ecosystem, evaluating performance and providing strategic direction for paid, owned, and shared media.
  • Develop a communication plan for sharing success and status with the marketing and sales team.
  • Support company marketing events and initiatives with creative digital media plans to secure and grow loyalist audiences.
  • Ensure SEO, AEO, and GEO are prioritized in digital marketing, advertising, and communication efforts.
