About The Position

Superior Communications is looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist in Irwindale, CA. The Digital Marketing Specialist supports the Marketing and Digital Marketing teams in developing and executing digital content and campaigns that build brand awareness, support e-commerce growth, and drive sales. This role includes social media management, content creation, and digital asset production with an emphasis on short-form video editing, visual storytelling, and support across social and e-commerce channels. The ideal candidate is creative, organized, trend-aware, and proficient with graphic design software, with the ability to contribute ideas while managing projects from concept to execution.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in similar Digital Marketing role
  • Working knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube best practices
  • Understanding of digital advertising platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, or YouTube Ads
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and interpreting performance metrics
  • Proficient with graphic design software and creative asset development
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organization and multitasking abilities
  • Strong Mac computer skills
  • Creative eye for visual content, composition, and storytelling
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to contribute ideas and constructive feedback

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Digital photo editing and retouching experience
  • Experience creating and editing short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts) using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar tools
  • Comfort appearing on camera for social content, product demonstrations, promotional video is a plus
  • Photography skills including lighting, focus, and composition
  • Experience with e-commerce content creation (Amazon, Shopify, Magento or similar)
  • Basic motion graphics or animation experience (familiarity with After Effects)

Responsibilities

  • Manage content calendars while creating, scheduling, and publishing posts across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Facebook to support campaigns and brand consistency.
  • Contribute ideas for social media content, campaign concepts, and digital storytelling initiatives.
  • Create, edit, and publish social media content across platforms, including posts, stories, reels, and short-form video for product marketing, promotions, and e-commerce.
  • Utilize AI-assisted tools to support content ideation, copy development, workflow efficiency, and creative production.
  • Support photography, product shoots, and content production as needed.
  • Assist in developing digital marketing campaigns related to e-commerce, product launches, and promotions.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor content, social channels, digital marketing strategies, and stay current on social media trends, platform changes, content formats, and emerging tools.
  • Support email marketing efforts, including ideation, customer segmentation and promotional campaigns through Klaviyo / MailChimp.
  • Assist with organization and maintenance of digital assets, including file management, naming conventions, revisions, and archiving.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service and Marketing teams in managing brand communications, reviews, and customer feedback.
  • Support additional marketing and content-related projects as assigned.
  • Assist with other online projects as needed
