We’re looking for a results-driven digital marketer to own organic growth and modernize how Vertafore shows up in traditional and new-world search. Our website is a key driver of pipeline, and we’re evolving from a traditional Search Engine Optimization (SEO) model to one also built for AI-driven discovery. This role exists to improve discoverability, increase qualified traffic, and build a scalable content engine that performs across both search engines and AI platforms. You’ll own SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) end to end, from strategy through execution and performance. You’ll also help shape how we leverage generative AI to improve efficiency, scale, and impact. We’re looking for a builder who can diagnose gaps, implement improvements, and continuously optimize. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or equivalent experience
  • 4-6+ years in digital marketing with strong SEO and web performance focus with a proven ability to grow organic traffic and drive measurable business outcomes
  • Understanding of technical SEO and AEO fundamentals (indexing, site structure, performance, schema)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to translate data into action
  • Experience with analytics tools (GA4, Search Console, Semrush or similar)
  • Familiarity with other marketing tech, such as Marketo, heatmapping tools, and project management platforms
  • Hands-on experience with website CMS platforms
  • Working knowledge of paid search (PPC), display ad, and ABM campaigns and conversion tracking
  • AI and modern search expertise (required)
  • Experience using generative AI to improve content creation, SEO, or analysis
  • Strong prompting skills and experience building or using GPTs or similar tools to automate workflows
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to improve efficiency or results (content velocity, rankings, CTR, or insights)
  • Experience developing content strategies for AI and LLM-driven discovery
  • Understanding of how to structure content for AI visibility (AEO, SEO, topical authority)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS marketing
  • Experience in Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) via testing and/or experimentation
  • Experience building scalable content systems or frameworks
  • Exposure to AI-first or search innovation initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute SEO/AEO strategy (technical, on-page, content)
  • Optimize content for modern search, including AI-driven results and AEO
  • Conduct keyword/search query research, competitive analysis, and identify growth opportunities
  • Analyze performance (via GA4, Search Console, SEO/AEO platforms, heatmap tools) and turn insights into action
  • Build and manage website content in our Content Management System (CMS) with a focus on UX and conversion
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve site structure, content quality, and performance
  • Use AI tools to ideate, test, and scale content and optimization efforts
  • Stay current on search trends, algorithm updates, and AI advancements
