About The Position

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist responsible for executing and optimizing our client’s multi-channel brand communications, with a strong emphasis on social media management, digital content, and cross-functional coordination. This role blends analytics and creativity—leading social listening, reporting, and community engagement while ensuring seamless content delivery across platforms. Acting as a key liaison between House of Whiskey & Rums and House of Agave brand teams, agencies, and global markets, the specialist drives consistency in asset management, supports website development, and manages integrated workflows including campaigns, stakeholder requests, and global initiatives. Ideal for a detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage projects while aligning to broader brand and business strategies. This full-time position, based in New York City, is responsible for supporting and managing our clients’ social channels, as well as critical support for digital, asset management and cross-portfolio administrative activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing or communications
  • Strong analytical skills, including previous experience leveraging and assessing data for key online insights (e.g., social listening, sentiment analysis, KPIs, site engagement metrics and SEO)
  • Strong writing and editorial skills for developing thought leader content
  • Experience with developing and launching social media content and strategies
  • Solid knowledge of website UX/UI best practices, and leading social media networks (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat and TikTok)
  • Exceptional communication/organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Photoshop
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Have strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
  • Ability to own projects autonomously and take pride in the work you create and share
  • Metro New York-based. Be in our client’s NYC office (minimum three days per week)

Responsibilities

  • Work within Meltwater to connect the brand social channels, generating always-on dashboards. Social listening is checked daily for rising trends and if relevant, flagged to brand teams. Social reporting done on a weekly and monthly basis for all brands to analyze the data, pull key learnings and optimizations.
  • Once social calendars are finalized, all content is uploaded to Meltwater for the appropriate date across all accounts. As necessary, post natively on the platforms for Instagram posts/stories with functionality outside of platform (ie. Links, collab posts, stickers, etc.).
  • Act as in-house liaison for brand social communities. Monitor and engage on all social channels across all brands to respond to comments on posts, reply to messages, filter customer service requests, pass on influencer requests, liaise with local markets on specific requests, interact with community/like-minded brands.
  • Work with the Integrated Comms manager and the brand’s creative agencies to provide feedback on monthly calendars (prior to brand team approval), provide subject matter expertise, and assure alignment to strategy.
  • Management of internal DAM system for HOWR & A; supporting uploads & rights management.
  • Liaise with local markets on asset needs & connect them with creative agency and/or partner agency for revisions as needed.
  • Ensure consistency in asset naming conventions and organization of the DAM.
  • Assist with ensuring consistency across markets of correct asset usage.
  • Content support for campaigns/product launches (as needed).
  • Lead the development of new website pages with internal and external teams including copy development & translations, sourcing content, liaising with local market capabilities.
  • Lead updates as necessary and ensure proper functionality.
  • Check internal management platform on a bi-weekly basis for new requests and route to appropriate brand teams/masters for review & approvals.
  • Real time engagement with key focus markets/stakeholders + Master Distillers.
  • Schedule Management for select American Whiskey master blenders.
  • Work with global markets to build and finalize Master Distiller schedule/itinerary.
  • Asset Management for all global brand advocates.
  • Guidelines & Best Practices development.
  • Act as global project manager for liquid awards & accolades, including managing the global workstream and submissions, guidelines & best practices development, asset management, and market liaison.
