About The Position

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to promote a company’s products, services, and brand for the group of companies (OIC Foods, Brar's, Love South, etc.). This role involves managing various digital platforms, creating content, analyzing performance, and coordinating campaigns to enhance brand awareness and engagement within the food and restaurant industry.

Requirements

  • Degree/diploma in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related fields.
  • 3 to 5 years experience working in Digital Marketing.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel and web-based software programs.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team.
  • Ability to ensure quality of work and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and project management skills, with an ability to prioritize important tasks and projects.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies and campaign plans.
  • Manage content strategy and creation for digital platforms.
  • Oversee social media management across Meta, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Manage Google Ads and Meta Ads campaigns.
  • Utilize Google Analytics (GA4) for performance reporting.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns using Mailchimp and SMS marketing via SimpleTexting.
  • Conduct SEO research and implement website optimization strategies.
  • Perform copywriting and copy editing for digital content.
  • Manage content calendars.
  • Utilize basic Canva or Adobe Creative Suite knowledge.
  • Research market trends in the food and restaurant industry, including products and competitors.
  • Analyze competitor campaigns, engagement strategies, trending content formats, SEO keywords, and platform updates.
  • Identify products, services, or campaigns needing increased digital support.
  • Research and coordinate creator/influencer partnerships.
  • Oversee digital content development for various campaigns.
  • Develop campaign briefs, creative direction, messaging, and publishing schedules.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, approvals, and communication with content creators, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Review and approve creator submissions, captions, digital copy, and campaign assets.
  • Ensure digital content aligns with brand standards, messaging, and campaign objectives.
  • Oversee content calendars and publishing schedules across all digital platforms.
  • Lead the execution and rollout of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, SMS, and paid advertising channels.
  • Coordinate campaign timelines, approvals, creative assets, and stakeholder communication.
  • Manage Meta and Google Ads campaigns, including monitoring, optimization, and audience targeting.
  • Oversee campaign QA, testing, deployment, and reporting processes.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions regarding brand initiatives and campaign direction.
  • Monitor campaign and website performance using GA4 and platform analytics tools.
  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards tracking KPIs.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide optimization recommendations.
  • Present campaign performance summaries and recommendations to leadership.
