About The Position

As a Digital Marketing Specialist at Kingston Resorts, you will be fully responsible for the end-to-end creation of digital and social content—from concept to final execution—while working under the direction of the Senior Marketing Manager for approvals and alignment with brand goals. Resort topics will be provided, but this role requires proactive research and creativity to develop engaging campaigns. This position will directly manage six distinct social media accounts across the resort, each requiring tailored content to align with specific audiences and priorities. You will also oversee the monthly blog program, ensuring it integrates seamlessly into the social media calendar and supports broader marketing strategies. In addition, email marketing will be a major focus. You will design and distribute weekly email campaigns, incorporating both assigned topics from the Senior Marketing Manager and self-identified opportunities such as resort events, seasonal highlights, and guest engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, organized self-starter who thrives on independence, creativity, and initiative.

Requirements

  • Experience managing multiple social media accounts simultaneously.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively
  • Strong writing skills for blogs, social media, and email marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva for content creation.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms (Revinate, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Experience with HeyOrca (content planning/scheduling) and Asana (project management).
  • Highly organized, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing polished, brand-aligned work.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of marketing or hospitality marketing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Solely create all social media content (graphics, posts, video, captions) from inception to completion, with final approval by the Senior Marketing Manager.
  • Manage six unique resort social accounts, tailoring content strategies for each account while ensuring alignment with the overall Kingston Resorts brand.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and content inspiration to fuel creativity and maintain relevance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar tied to resort happenings, marketing campaigns, and guest engagement strategies.
  • Write, publish, and promote a monthly blog that connects with both social and email strategies.
  • Design and distribute weekly email campaigns, integrating both assigned content and independently sourced updates (e.g., resort events, promotions).
  • Maintain and oversee Kingston Resorts’ social accounts, ensuring a consistent cadence, high-quality visuals, and community engagement.
  • Respond to comments, questions, and reviews across accounts with timeliness and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Marketing Manager, Corporate Digital Marketing Team, and internal departments (sales, PR, operations, F&B) to ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Identify and coordinate influencer and social media partnership opportunities to expand reach.
  • Provide digital content support for Kingston Resorts events and activations.
  • Monitor performance and provide monthly reporting on social and email campaigns, offering insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current with emerging social and digital marketing tools and best practices.
