About The Position

Children’s Minnesota is one of the largest pediatric health systems in the United States and the only health system in Minnesota to provide care exclusively to children, from before birth through young adulthood. The Marketing and Communications team tells the story of Children’s Minnesota — so that our community understands what we can do for them. With a diverse team of experts in PR, digital, social, brand management and creative, we develop communications that raise awareness of our highly specialized care, grow affinity for our kid-focused approach to medicine, and keep our audiences (families, physician partners, community groups) engaged in the journey toward better health for all children.

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Communications, Business Administration, or Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
  • Two (1-2) years effectively overseeing and directing work of others.
  • Demonstrated ability to define clear digital marketing objectives with related KPIs, and to report/demonstrate results.
  • Experience owning customer/target audience web experience: optimizing for conversion and engagement, including developing the Search Engine Optimization Strategy, ensuring all content is search engine. optimized to drive top keyword rankings for key search terms.
  • Experience effectively coaching people to achieve desired results.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO/SEM, AIO, Display Advertising, Email, Web, digital experience, and mobile marketing.
  • Experience managing and leading projects.
  • Experience working with (SYSTEMS - Google Analytics, Wordpress, Siteimprove).
  • Effectively work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization.
  • Continuous improvement mindset: sharing learnings across businesses/markets, replicate best practices.
  • Experience working in a complex organization with a variety of audiences, stakeholders and communications goals to create a comprehensive strategy.
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO/SEM, Display Advertising, Email, Web, Nurturing customers, and mobile marketing.
  • Ability to develop strong, trusting and collaborative relationships with all levels in the organization.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personal commitment to deliver results, solutions oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Digital agency experience and/or experience working in healthcare or other regulated industries a plus!
  • Experience with paid lead programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the strategic planning, execution and optimization of Children’s Minnesota digital properties, including multiple websites.
  • Manages the digital web team relationship with stakeholders across the organization including IT.
  • Develops and/or oversees website strategies, search engine optimization (SEO/SEM), AI Optimization (AIO), email, regulatory compliance, vendor management and website ROI in alignment with the Children’s Minnesota strategic and operating plans.
  • Provide strategic direction, develop roadmap, and determine metrics to measure success.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead others with compassion.
  • Work independently, as part of a team, and inspire others to success.
