About The Position

PPG is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Digital team! You will lead the Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (COE), supporting the evolution of global B2B marketing into a data-driven, scalable growth engine. This role defines and leads the strategy, operating model, and execution of digital marketing, with a strong focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), demand generation, and performance marketing to drive measurable pipeline impact across global business units. Blending strategy, operations, and hands-on execution, you will standardize best practices, enable advanced demand generation, and embed AI-powered marketing capabilities across the organization. You will report to the Director of Digital Product and Marketing.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in B2B digital marketing or marketing operations
  • Experience leading COE or global marketing operations
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM
  • Deep experience in demand generation and lead management
  • Proven ability to drive data-driven decisions and influence stakeholders
  • Experience with indirect influence across functions, regions, and seniority levels.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools or pilots in a B2B context.

  • Background in complex B2B, industrial, or manufacturing environments, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead PPG's Digital Marketing Center of Excellence, setting a clear vision for scalable, data-driven marketing operations across U.S. and European business units.
  • Design, implement, and continuously refine B2B demand generation processes, with particular emphasis on account-based marketing (ABM) and lifecycle/nurture programs.
  • Act as an enterprise vantage point - identifying recurring execution challenges, tooling gaps, and process inefficiencies - and translating insights into concrete improvements.
  • Develop standards, frameworks, and playbooks that improve consistency, speed, and effectiveness while allowing flexibility for business-unit needs.
  • Define and execute a global digital marketing strategy grounded in data, customer insights, and business objectives.
  • Build a performance driven culture, leveraging KPIs, attribution models, and ROI tracking.
  • Translate analytics into actionable insights and executive level storytelling to demonstrate marketing impact.
  • Lead SFMC strategy, adoption, and execution across multiple business units.
  • Provide strategic direction and oversight of SFMC execution, partnering with technical and campaign teams.
  • Design and scale automated customer journeys (lead nurture, lifecycle, ABM).
  • Standardize lead management processes (scoring, routing, SLAs) in alignment with commercial excellence.
  • Establish governance, best practices, and enablement to drive platform adoption and data integrity.
  • Partner with IT and CRM teams to ensure integration and scalability.
  • Oversee marketing operations by managing and guiding teams executing campaigns, workflows, and governance processes.
  • Manage and optimize the marketing technology stack (SFMC, CRM, DAM, CMS).
  • Build and scale analytics frameworks and dashboards for marketing-to-revenue visibility.
  • Drive continuous optimization through performance insights and test-and-learn approaches.
  • Identify and scale AI-driven marketing capabilities (personalization, content, predictive insights).
  • Evaluate, pilot, and scale AI use cases with measurable impact on campaign performance, efficiency, or personalization.
  • Embed AI into campaigns, analytics, and customer journeys.
