About The Position

About the Role SpecChem, headquartered in Kansas City, MO, manufactures specialty concrete chemicals, cementitious repair products, and epoxies in its six manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. SpecChem supplies and services the concrete distributor network with quality construction products that provide performance and value to the industry. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Manager to lead and manage our company’s digital presence across web and marketing platforms. This role is on-site in our Kansas City, MO headquarters. This role manages and optimizes the company website, supports digital marketing initiatives, and ensures all digital platforms effectively drive customer engagement and campaign performance. In addition to website management, the position may assist with maintaining the company’s learning management system and mobile app in partnership with internal teams and external developers. The ideal candidate is skilled in web content management, SEO/GEO optimization, performance analytics, and coordinating technical updates. This role reports to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with the Marketing, Product, and Sales teams to create compelling content, launch web campaigns, analyze performance, and support broader digital marketing initiatives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience managing websites and digital marketing platforms; willing to train on this skillset if all other key responsibilities can be met.
  • Hands-on experience with website content management systems, preferably WordPress.
  • Strong SEO knowledge and analytics platform experience
  • Excellent project management and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting mobile app development
  • Familiarity with React-based web applications, TypeScript, or modern web frameworks
  • Knowledge of mobile deployment workflows for iOS/Android

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the company website, ensuring accurate content, strong UX, and alignment with marketing goals.
  • Optimize site performance, SEO, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility.
  • Manage analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.) and translate insights into actionable marketing improvements.
  • Lead SEO and visibility strategies, including metadata, site speed, and structured data enhancements.
  • Support integration of digital tools such as AI, AR/VR, and interactive web resources.
  • (Nice to have) Assist with mobile app updates, testing, release coordination, and performance monitoring.
