About The Position

The Armed Services YMCA is seeking a Digital Marketing Director with a mission-driven approach and a focus on impactful marketing. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with an emphasis on leveraging AI and emerging trends. The ideal candidate will be adept at turning a mission into a movement, focusing on conversion paths and data-driven decision-making. This position is remote and open to U.S.-based candidates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field AND 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., social media, email, paid media, SEO/SEM)
  • Experience using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools) to inform decision-making
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with AI-driven marketing tools and platforms
  • Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or purpose-led organizations
  • Familiarity with fundraising or donor acquisition/engagement strategies
  • Experience managing agencies or cross-functional teams
  • You’ve built something from scratch and made it matter
  • You understand how to balance heart + performance (this is nonprofit, but we play to win)
  • You can translate TikTok, LinkedIn, and AI strategy to non-marketers clearly

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute digital marketing strategy across social, email, web, and paid channels
  • Develop and optimize campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
  • Leverage AI and emerging tools to increase efficiency, creativity, and performance
  • Analyze performance metrics and continuously refine campaigns based on data insights
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with fundraising, programs, and leadership teams
  • Manage external partners and/or internal resources as needed

Benefits

  • Salary commensurate with experience $92-116K
