About The Position

We are running a confidential search on behalf of our Client for a Digital Marketing Data Analyst who turns marketing data into decisions. You will own the reporting our clients count on, give an honest read on whether our work is moving their business, and find the patterns across our portfolio that make every client better. This role is for someone equally at home inside a spreadsheet, an API, and a client conversation.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a data analyst, ideally in a marketing, agency, or client-services setting.
  • Strong hands-on skills with marketing and web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and CallRail.
  • Comfort working with APIs and connecting data across different systems.
  • Ability to run sound statistical analysis and explain what the numbers mean in plain language.
  • A track record of turning data into recommendations that non-technical people can act on.
  • A clear, confident communicator who can hold their own in a client conversation, not just behind a screen.
  • Highly organized and dependable on deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a marketing agency or with local SEO and PPC campaigns.
  • Familiarity with legal-industry marketing or client-specific technology stacks.
  • Experience building or deploying AI-driven reporting or dashboards.
  • SQL, Looker Studio, or comparable BI and visualization experience.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly client reports using our existing reporting infrastructure, owning accuracy and timeliness.
  • Simplify legacy reporting to be faster, easier to maintain, and less expensive to operate by cutting manual steps.
  • Run analytics reviews of delivered work to provide an unbiased read on whether tactics moved clients toward business goals.
  • Partner with Customer Success to clearly communicate findings to clients and recommend expanding or pulling back tactics.
  • Track competitor moves using tools like Local Falcon and PPC competitive studies to keep clients ahead of market shifts.
  • Study tactics across the client base to surface best practices, wins, and misses, and spread those lessons.
  • Serve as the analytical backbone for portfolio-wide experiments to produce statistically meaningful results.
  • Provide clients with benchmarking data for context.
  • Work directly with clients to set up their internal reporting, including stitching data feeds through APIs and implementing intake management software.
  • Set up and configure CallRail, Google Analytics, Search Console, and other client-specific or legal-industry tools.
  • Troubleshoot data problems as they surface.
  • For mature clients, work inside their infrastructure to protect accuracy and timeliness and focus on their key metrics.
  • Lead the rollout of data-driven AI efforts internally and with clients, starting with specific reporting and expanding to an AI-driven marketing KPI dashboard.
