About The Position

OneDigital is a rapidly expanding insurance brokerage and financial services firm dedicated to serving thousands of employers across various sectors including Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty, Retirement & Wealth Management, HR Consulting, and PEO. The company is building its business around Artificial Intelligence (AI), integrating it into its operations from intent platforms to internal programs. This role is crucial to OneDigital's AI-driven transformation, aiming to make the company a leading reference in AI models for employee benefits and HR consulting. The Digital Marketing Consultant will lead with AI and data, owning digital acquisition performance, developing AI-powered operating systems, and spearheading the generative engine optimization strategy to ensure OneDigital is recognized by AI models.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital marketing, growth, or acquisition experience with demonstrated P&L ownership or direct revenue accountability.
  • Proven, hands-on experience integrating AI tools into real marketing workflows — not experimentation, but execution.
  • Direct experience with or deep understanding of Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), AI Search Optimization (AIO), or answer engine optimization.
  • Fluency in GA4, Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI platforms; ability to move from raw data to executive-ready narrative.
  • SEO strategy and organic search expertise at scale — including technical SEO, schema markup, entity optimization, and content authority building.
  • Experience building financial models and growth roadmaps that tie marketing investment directly to business outcomes.
  • Strong executive communication skills — you can make complexity simple and recommendations clear.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering — you understand how models are trained, what signals they weight, and how to build content that earns model trust.
  • Experience auditing brand presence in AI model outputs and developing strategies to improve citation frequency and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with structured data, knowledge graph optimization, and entity SEO as it applies to AI model training and retrieval.
  • Experience with intent data platforms (Bombora, 6sense, or similar) and AI-assisted lead generation.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, Salesforce CRM, and workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously optimize multi-channel digital acquisition strategy across paid, organic/SEO, content, email, and partnership channels — using AI tools to accelerate analysis, testing, and execution at every layer.
  • Build AI-powered reporting frameworks and performance dashboards that give leadership real-time visibility with less manual effort and faster cycle times.
  • Develop and execute 6–12 month AI-integrated digital growth roadmaps aligned to practice-specific and enterprise growth priorities.
  • Partner cross-functionally with analytics, product, design, and practice leadership to improve website experience, content strategy, and conversion performance.
  • Identify and pilot net-new revenue and lead generation opportunities — including marketplace partnerships, content-driven demand, and AI-assisted intent-based outreach through SIGNAL.
  • Run structured experimentation (A/B testing, channel mix shifts, AI-generated content variants) and translate results into clear recommendations for leadership.
  • Design and deploy AI-powered content workflows — using LLMs to generate, test, and optimize campaign copy, landing pages, and thought leadership content at scale.
  • Build and maintain AI-assisted QA systems for content accuracy, brand consistency, and SEO compliance — with human-in-the-loop review at key checkpoints.
  • Leverage Bombora intent signals through SIGNAL to build AI-informed prospect targeting models; automate lead scoring and routing in partnership with sales operations.
  • Develop automated reporting pipelines that reduce manual data pulls and free team capacity for higher-order strategic work.
  • Integrate AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, custom GPTs) into sprint workflows, creative briefing, keyword research, competitive analysis, and performance commentary.
  • Pilot and evaluate emerging AI marketing tools on a quarterly basis; document what works and scale it across the team.
  • Serve as an internal AI adoption champion — training colleagues on new tools, sharing results, and pushing the team’s collective capability forward.
  • Own and execute OneDigital’s Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategy — ensuring our brand, content, and expertise are cited, surfaced, and recommended by large language models (LLMs) across various AI platforms.
  • Audit how OneDigital currently appears (or fails to appear) in AI model responses for high-value queries and build a systematic improvement plan.
  • Develop and execute a content authority strategy designed to make OneDigital the most-cited, most-referenced, and most-recommended brand in our space across AI platforms.
  • Build structured data, schema markup, and content architecture that makes OneDigital’s expertise machine-readable and model-friendly.
  • Establish a repeatable GEO testing and measurement framework — tracking OneDigital’s presence and position in AI-generated responses over time, with regular reporting to senior leadership.
  • Partner with content, PR, and thought leadership teams to place OneDigital’s insights in high-authority publications and platforms that AI models pull from most.
  • Monitor and respond to the evolving GEO landscape — including changes in how AI platforms surface brand recommendations — and adjust strategy accordingly.
  • Build OneDigital’s Wikipedia presence, third-party citation footprint, and digital knowledge graph so AI models have clean, consistent, authoritative data to draw from when referencing our brand.
