About The Position

Digital Learning & Curriculum Designer – Vocational Training. This is a remote (home-based) position. The Verdancy Group, part of Fedcap UK, is seeking a creative Digital Learning & Curriculum Designer to develop engaging, high-quality learning experiences. The role involves creating content for employability, life skills, vocational training, and professional development. The ideal candidate will excel at managing projects from concept to completion, working across various programs and audiences, and transforming complex ideas into accessible learning content. Collaboration with trainers, subject matter experts, and partners is key to designing innovative digital and blended learning programs for diverse learners. We are looking for a curious, proactive, organized, and passionate individual dedicated to creating impactful learning experiences. Experience with multinational audiences (UK, Canada, USA) is a significant advantage.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing content for adult, vocational, and young learners, with a focus on adapting materials to suit diverse developmental stages and learning needs
• Strong instructional design skills and proficiency with authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Rise/Storyline, Adapt, Canva)
• Experience using an LMS (Docebo or similar)
• Ability to simplify technical content and create engaging, inclusive learning materials
• Collaborative approach and a passion for impactful learning

Nice To Haves

• Experience developing content for multinational audiences and regions, including the UK, Canada and the USA

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing interactive, accessible content across multiple formats (e-learning, slide decks, workbooks, media)
• Working with subject matter experts to ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with real-world industry needs
• Leading course builds in our LMS, optimising learner experience and interactivity
• Improving and updating existing materials to enhance accessibility, consistency, and learner engagement
• Developing meaningful assessments aligned with awarding body standards (e.g. SQA, NOCN)
• Championing user-centred design and digital innovation in learning
