About The Position

The Learning Designer is integral to Gartner’s Learning Design team. In this position, you will design, deliver and curate global learning experiences and programs, with a primary focus on client-facing associates. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including Talent Effectiveness and client-facing Business Units to deliver and consult on learning experiences to improve performance and business outcomes. This role requires a high degree of independent problem-solving, stakeholder management, excellent communication skills and a client-first approach.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of learning experience with an emphasis in instructional design.
  • Proven experience designing and managing blended learning experiences and working within a full instructional design cycle, including analysis, design, development, program implementation and delivery.
  • Experience designing learning for client-facing or revenue‑generating roles (e.g., sales, service) preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with learning technology platforms (e.g., LMS) and AI-enabled tools to distribute and enhance learning experiences.
  • Exceptional writing, design and editing skills.
  • Creativity and resourcefulness to solve problems and develop innovative learning solutions.
  • A collaborative, team-player mindset and focus on delivering impact for learners, clients and the organization.
  • Ability to pivot and remain agile in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Highly effective execution with a commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) and video editing tools like Camtasia or Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Examples of work are required for this position.
  • Must be located within a 60 minute commute to Irving, TX or Fort Myers, FL.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop learning experiences and multi-modal learning programs (e.g., e-learning, instructor-led learning, virtual learning environments, performance support, job aids, playbooks, AI role plays, etc.) that support the performance of client-facing associates.
  • Create highly effective interactive content using appropriate authoring systems and software applications as needed, applying instructional design principles to ensure engagement and impact.
  • Collaborate with team members, subject-matter experts and business leaders to develop, implement and evolve experiences that align to learner expectations and business needs.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the quality, personalization and discoverability of learning materials.
  • Develop a working knowledge of all aspects of the business, with an emphasis on client-facing role
  • Draw on the professional expertise of subject matter experts for content development.
  • Effectively oversee activities and adhere to project scope, timelines, budget and priorities.
  • Ensure the instructional content adheres to quality standards and supports learning outcomes.
