About The Position

The Digital Instructional Designer will design, develop, and optimize engaging digital learning modules for a learning experience platform that supports dealer sales enablement. This role builds capability across a broad dealer network by turning content into high-quality digital learning experiences that advance business priorities.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Organizational Development, Communications, or a related field
5–7 years of instructional design experience
Instructional design and curriculum development
Digital content development
Application of adult learning principles
Storyboarding and scripting
Needs analysis and content organization
Stakeholder collaboration
Written communication
Learner-centered design
Quality and detail orientation
Project and time management, including multiple concurrent module builds
Continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

Translate business goals, performance needs, and source content into learning journeys, microlearning, and modular learning experiences
Work with subject matter experts to extract knowledge and shape it into clear, actionable learning assets aligned to desired outcomes
Create assessments, activities, job aids, and other learning support materials
Build and edit modules in approved authoring tools, maintaining consistent branding, tone, and learner experience across the platform
Incorporate interactivity, scenario-based learning, and knowledge checks to strengthen engagement and retention
Revise and update content based on stakeholder feedback, learner insights, and performance data as business needs evolve
Help define content design standards, templates, and development processes that improve speed, consistency, and scalability
Coordinate with training leaders, product and program teams, regional stakeholders, and digital platform support resources
