About The Position

DuPont’s Digital Innovation team builds AI, automation, and analytics capabilities that help a global science company work faster, smarter, and with greater impact. The team manages a growing portfolio of priorities across the business and needs a strong leader who can turn strategy into disciplined execution. As the Digital Innovation Operations Manager, you will create the structure, cadence, and visibility needed to keep critical initiatives moving. You will track progress, connect dependencies, surface risks early, and ensure leaders have the information they need to make decisions. Just as important, you will make sure those decisions translate into clear owners, next steps, and completed work. The ideal candidate brings strong AI and digital fluency, sound judgment, and a builder mindset. They are comfortable operating in ambiguity, creating order where none exists, and improving how teams plan, track, communicate, and deliver. This is a role for someone who can see the whole board, spot what might slow progress, and build practical ways of working that scale.

Requirements

  • Program management depth: planning, prioritization, risk management, decision tracking, and relentless follow-through.
  • Experience delivering initiatives at the enterprise scale involving AI, automation, and analytics.
  • Curiosity and a learner mindset that keeps pace with emerging technologies.
  • Adoption and change management, including knowledge of the ADKAR model.
  • Hands-on Jira experience, including project and workflow configuration, backlog and board design, and reporting; Confluence and other work management tools are a plus.
  • Executive communication skills: the judgment to know what a leader needs to see, and the discipline to say it in one page.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Collaboration tools including M365, Sharepoint, PowerBI, Teams, etc…
  • Data storytelling: the ability to compile information from multiple sources and shape it into a clear, compelling story that helps leaders understand progress, value, and next steps.
  • A talent for creating structure in ambiguous environments and keeping teams aligned on priorities, owners, and next steps.
  • Strong influential leadership skills and the ability to build trust quickly with business partners, functional leaders, and technical teams.
  • High ownership, sharp attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort managing competing priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years in technical project management, program management, business operations, or a closely related role.
  • 5+ years supporting digital, AI, automation, analytics, or enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying or administering a work management platform such as Jira, including driving adoption across teams.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a complex, global enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own the operating rhythm of the Digital Innovation portfolio: planning cycles, governance forums, leadership reviews, and the follow-through that happens between them.
  • Track progress across AI, analytics, automation, and digital enablement initiatives, map the dependencies that connect them, and drive the conversations that unblock delivery.
  • Identify and escalate risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional snags early with a recommendation attached.
  • Gather portfolio status from program teams, vendors, and Center of Excellence partners.
  • Shape information into executive updates, dashboards, and briefing materials that are short, honest, and decision ready.
  • Frame choices, lay out trade-offs, capture decisions, and close the loop on actions.
  • Help people successfully adopt the capabilities delivered, including AI enablement and training programs, communications, stakeholder engagement, and change management.
  • Champion responsible AI practices and help teams realize measurable value from the technologies introduced.
  • Define the project and workflow design for Jira, configure boards, backlogs, and reporting to match how the team delivers.
  • Partner with platform support teams on Jira administration and integrations.
  • Drive Jira adoption: onboarding teams, running training, writing documentation, and steadily raising data quality.
