Tenaska is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and self-motivated individual to join its Digital Infrastructure team. The Digital Infrastructure Analyst/Associate will help identify, evaluate, develop, and commercialize energy and infrastructure solutions for data centers, artificial intelligence, and other large-load customers. Opportunities may involve powered land, electric interconnections, natural gas and power infrastructure, dedicated and behind-the-meter generation, battery energy storage, long-duration energy storage, and other technologies that can accelerate customers’ access to power. The role supports opportunities from initial screening through due diligence, commercial structuring, and project development. The analyst will turn complex market, technical, commercial, development, regulatory, financial, and legal information into actionable opportunities and clear recommendations for customers, senior management, and project teams. The position involves taking ownership of assignments, coordinating across functions, identifying issues and potential solutions, and helping advance projects through research, stakeholder coordination, process improvement, and execution. The analyst will help improve how the Digital Infrastructure team identifies and evaluates opportunities. The role calls for intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn and apply tools such as geographic information systems, artificial intelligence, databases, application programming interfaces, Python, and workflow automation. Success requires sound judgment, attention to detail, urgency, and the ability to work effectively amid changing priorities, incomplete information, challenging environments, and steep learning curves. Domestic travel may be required for customer meetings, project evaluations, site visits, due diligence activities, and industry events.
