Digital Infrastructure Analyst

Tenaska•Irving, TX

About The Position

Tenaska is seeking an experienced, collaborative, and self-motivated individual to join its Digital Infrastructure team. The Digital Infrastructure Analyst/Associate will help identify, evaluate, develop, and commercialize energy and infrastructure solutions for data centers, artificial intelligence, and other large-load customers. Opportunities may involve powered land, electric interconnections, natural gas and power infrastructure, dedicated and behind-the-meter generation, battery and long-duration energy storage, and other technologies that can accelerate customer access to power. The role translates complex market, technical, commercial, and development information into actionable opportunities and clear recommendations for customers and senior management. The analyst will take ownership of assignments and work across functional teams, advancing opportunities from initial screening through due diligence, commercial structuring, and project development. Work includes evaluating opportunities, preparing presentations, coordinating due diligence, supporting project economics and commercial evaluations, tracking agreements and development activities, and collaborating with development, engineering, legal, finance, and external counterparties. The role requires credible initial assessments and recommendations even when information is incomplete and circumstances are changing. The position also helps improve how the team identifies and evaluates opportunities, using or learning tools such as geographic information systems, artificial intelligence, databases, application programming interfaces, Python, and workflow automation. The successful candidate will exercise sound judgment, attention to detail, urgency, and adaptability in challenging environments with changing priorities and steep learning curves. Domestic travel may be required for customer meetings, project evaluations, site visits, due diligence, and industry events. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States permanently without current or future employer sponsorship. Tenaska does not sponsor new or existing employment visas, including H-1B, TN, E-3, O-1, or permanent residence sponsorship.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and business decision-making skills.

  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
