About the position
The job overview for this position is that the company, Neuralink, is seeking a Digital IC Design Engineer to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art brain-computer interfaces. The engineer will be responsible for the micro-architecture and RTL implementation of digital IPs and systems, with a focus on high-throughput low-power digital signal processing and hardware accelerators. The ideal candidate should have expertise in electrical engineering or computer science, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital design. Experience in system verification, physical design, and testing of complex digital systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver micro-architecture and RTL implementation of digital IPs and systems
- Focus on high-throughput low-power digital signal processing (DSP) and general-purpose hardware accelerators
- Contribute to the realization of state-of-the-art brain-computer interfaces
- Develop micro-architecture design for low-power processors, on-chip bus and network interfaces, audio/video compression processors, AI/ML accelerators, and communication PHY/MAC
- Demonstrate exceptional ability in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in digital design
- Possess expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python
- Work on complex digital systems from architecture, microarchitecture, and RTL using industry standard tools
- Verify complex digital systems using industry standard tools
- Design complex digital systems using industry standard tools
- Test and debug digital system-on-a-chips
- Have functional modeling experience and logic verification with SystemVerilog, SystemC/C++
- Design digital signal processing pipelines from algorithm to RTL
- Automate tool flows
- Have experience with embedded design
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in digital design
- Expertise in SystemVerilog, C/C++, Python
- Experience working on complex digital systems from architecture, microarchitecture, and RTL, using industry standard tools
- Experience in the verification of complex digital systems, using industry standard tools
- Experience in the physical design of complex digital systems, using industry standard tools
- Experience testing and debugging digital system-on-a-chips
- Functional modeling experience and logic verification with SystemVerilog, SystemC/C++
- Experience in designing digital signal processing pipelines, from algorithm to RTL
- Experience automating tool flows
- Experience with embedded design
