About The Position

Brinker International is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to partner with Product Owners in Brinker Marketing’s Digital Guest Experience (DGE) space. The role works with the Brinker Marketing team, Brinker IT architects and developers, and third-party vendors to deliver product goals and manage objectives within projected timelines, supporting robust digital experiences for restaurant guests.

The position helps manage initiatives for restaurant websites and mobile applications, as well as loyalty and CRM platforms across Chili’s and Maggiano’s. Using Agile development principles, the coordinator participates in planning, documents detailed user stories, and works with subject matter experts and the Product Owner to refine and manage backlog items. The role also provides guidance and oversight for sprint development, QA validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience working with software development teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile development principles and processes.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• BS/BA degree in Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent formal training or work experience.

Nice To Haves

• Ecommerce experience.
• Hospitality or retail industry experience.
• BS/BA degree in Information Systems or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the Product Owner and development teams to support a transparent and productive environment.
• Write and refine user stories, specify acceptance criteria, groom the backlog, and manage risks using Agile practices.
• Manage multiple streams of work and deliver high-quality results in a timely manner.
• Facilitate recurring status meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
• Maintain and update project schedules, tasks, and action items.
• Monitor project progress and document risks and roadblocks.
• Partner with the Product Owner on project management and oversight to advance multiple initiatives and deliver product goals on time.
• Participate in planning sessions and collaborate with subject matter experts to refine and manage backlog items.
• Provide guidance and oversight for sprint development activities, QA validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
