About The Position

Senior digital forensics position responsible for the technical and operational management of company’s Fresno forensic lab. This role combines hands-on forensic examination with case oversight, evidence management, quality control, lab standards, and development of forensic analysts. Must currently reside in the Fresno, CA area and be willing to work fully onsite. No sponsorship/3rd parties.

Requirements

• Significant professional digital forensics experience.
• Advanced experience conducting computer and digital forensic examinations.
• Strong experience with forensic acquisition, preservation, processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Deep familiarity with forensic platforms such as Magnet AXIOM, EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, X-Ways, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of forensic artifacts, Windows systems, file systems, user activity, and evidence reconstruction.
• Expert understanding of chain of custody, evidence integrity, defensible forensic methodology, and forensic lab procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple active forensic matters and prioritize laboratory workload.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior and mid-level forensic analysts.
• Strong written communication.
• Eligible to work for any U.S. employer without ever requiring sponsorship or a 3rd party.
• Able to pass a background check.
• Currently living in the Fresno, CA area and willing to work 100% onsite.

Nice To Haves

• Prior law enforcement digital forensics experience is a plus.
